Ginette, one of the best restaurants in Barcelona, opened its doors two years ago and it was an immediate success. Located near the famous Arc de Triomf it is very easy to access from the city center or from the beach.
Here you will be able to experience amazing food: traditional Catalan food as well as French and Spanish food so there is a broad variety of tastes. The Chef at Ginette wants to keep the tradition alive but at the same time wants to bring innovative concepts and create new dishes based on the traditional ones. They offer a great selection of wines and cocktails and word in the city is that they make the best chocolate mousse. So what are you waiting for? You must pay them a visit if you’re in Barcelona. Enjoy!
Great restaurant! 200% recommend! They have amazing tapas in a very relaxed ambiance where you can eat, drink and chat calmly. I’m pretty sure it’ll become a top restaurant in Barcelona in the coming months. Love it and will be back 🙂Jean–Laurent Wotton
Viana is the second one on our list so that means is one of the best ones. Located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter near Plaça Reial, Viana Barcelona offers quality international cuisine along with tempting homemade cocktails. The location is great, the service is great, the prices and the food will definitely make you want to return there.
Their menu is divided into tapas and platillos, main dishes and happy ending desserts so here you can basically find something for every taste. One might expect to not find a good place in this area as it is the city center and most of the places are tourist traps but believe us, you will be pleasantly surprised by this place.
Very good restaurant. Staff kindly. Delicious food.Han Muijzert
Bodega Biarritz 1881
Bodega Biarritz is famous for its tapas and the name comes from the fact that the tapas bar was founded in 1881. What better place to open a tapas bar than in the city of tapas – Barcelona? Being a traditional tapas bar, here you will really get to experience the real taste of Spain. They offer regular and vegetarian tapas so there is something for everyone in this bar. Here you can try over 35 types of tapas and some of the best wines in Spain. So, grab your friends and go enjoy some delicious Spanish food at Bodega Biarritz.
This was quite possibly one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. Jennifer, our server, personally walked us to the second location to find us seating, but it was also full so we waited for a table. She brought us drinks in line, and we waited for about 20 minutes. We had her select our 8 tapas dishes, and all of them were remarkable. Overall food and service exceeded expectations.Adam Anagnostopoulos
Bordeaux – Cuina Oberta
Bordeaux is a cozy place next to the Plaza de la Concòrdia. In here you can taste carpaccios, tartars, ceviches, oysters or cheeses of international origin, among other dishes. Another aspect for which they are known for is in the choice of wines. They offer more than 100 choices of wine. If you are looking for a different experience in a relaxed and cozy environment then Bordeaux is the place for you.
Bordeaux- Cuina Oberta is a classy place that puts the quality of the product in the first place. They choose with care the dishes they want to offer and they elaborate it carefully to enhance the flavors.
Perfect dinner. Super cute place. Small, so you better book 🙂 super nice food + Oscar & Juan Carlos are very welcoming and warm. Anything you ask will for sure be prepared caringly. We asked for ceviche and the cheese, you better not miss them outAngeles Moreno
Sensi Gourmet Tapas
The last place on our list is another tapas place, Sensi Gourmet Tapas. Located in the Gothic area, you will get the chance to admire the beautiful center of Barcelona and grab a bite to eat and a few drinks after. The design of the place will give you a real taste of Barcelona’s soul and will offer you the chance to enjoy some delicious tapas in a fresh and dynamic atmosphere. They have another two places called Sensi Taoas and Sensi Bistro so make sure you will visit all of them and have a great time in Barcelona.
Best culinary experience in Barcelona hands down. The service was really nice and despite sitting at the bar it was really comfortable. The food was outstanding and the best tapas we had during our stay. Definitely try the slow cooked pork!Annalena Remy
